Nick McNally has been in senior management roles in biomedical research since 1999, first as R&D Manager for the UCLH R&D Directorate and latterly as the Director of Research Support, including senior management responsibility for the Joint Research Office, UCLH/UCL NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, UCLH/UCL Clinical Research Facility and UCL Clinical Trials Unit. Nick has extensive experience of research management in the NHS and HEI sectors, including the development of teams, structures and systems for the management, sponsorship and oversight of large portfolios of clinical research including clinical trials, coordination of large bids for funding, establishment of new clinical research infrastructure and facilities and the implementation of performance management into the research support environment.
